CBP Further Revises Summary Query ACE ABI CATAIR Chapter for Next ESAR Release

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued a CSMS message stating the Entry Summary Query ACE ABI CATAIR chapter for the next ESAR release has been further revised and is posted to its website.

Revisions to Table of Changes, From and To Dates

CBP previously posted this chapter, along with the Entry Summary Status Notification chapter, which were already updated for the next ESAR release. However, the Entry Summary Query chapter has been further revised to make the following two additional changes:

  • the Table of Changes was revised to reflect the revision number; and
  • the From and To Dates in the J2-Record were incorrectly identified as conditional and are now marked as mandatory.

ESAR Release Deployment Has Been Temporarily Delayed

The next ESAR release, which was scheduled to be deployed on October 3, 2010, was recently delayed. CBP has stated that the release will be deployed in the “near future.” (See ITT’s Online Archives or 10/04/10 news, 10100421, for BP summary announcing the delay.)
