EPA Must Publish Receipt of PMNs, Status of New Chemicals Under Review

TSCA requires any person who intends to manufacture (which includes import) a new chemical (i.e., a chemical not on the TSCA Inventory) to notify EPA through a PMN and comply with the statutory provisions pertaining to the manufacture of new chemicals. EPA in turn, is required to publish a notice of receipt of these PMNs or TMEs and periodic status reports on the chemicals under review.

Additional Information May be Available

EPA states that additional, non-confidential business information may be available upon request for the PMNs and TSEs listed in the notice.
