House Ways and Means Announces Hearing on China’s Exchange Rate Policy

The House Ways and Means Committee has announced that it will be holding a hearing on September 15, 2010 on China’s exchange rate policy.

House Majority Leader Hoyer (D) had previously announced that the House Ways and Means Committee was planning to hold a hearing on China’s currency policy. Hoyer has previously stated that the “Make it in America” agenda includes Representative Ryan’s currency legislation (H.R. 2378, the Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act), which has been referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
