Preliminary Affirmative AD Duty Determination on Mexico Copper Pipe and Tube

The International Trade Administration has made a preliminary affirmative antidumping determination that seamless refined copper pipe and tube from Mexico is being, or is likely to be, sold in the U.S. at less than fair value (A-201-838).

AD Suspension of Liquidation Instructions

The ITA will direct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to suspend liquidation of all entries of subject merchandise from Mexico with a time of entry on or after May 12, 2010.

AD Cash Deposit Requirements

The ITA will instruct CBP to require a cash deposit or the posting of a bond for entries of subject merchandise from Mexico with a time of entry on or after May 12, 2010 at the AD duty rates below.

ITA Postpones Due Date for Final AD Determination

The ITA is also extending the due date for the final AD duty determination by 60 days to September 24, 2010. Suspension of liquidation will be extended accordingly.
