On March 31, 2010, the ITA published a notice of amended final determination pursuant to final court decision. (See ITT’s Online Archives or 03/31/10 news, (Ref: 10033165), for BP summary.)

Subsequent to the publication of that notice, the ITA identified an inadvertent error in its CV duty rate calculation for the Huludao Companies, as well as the “All Others” rate, which the ITA states are both typographical errors.

Corrected CV Cash Deposit Rates

The ITA has instructed U.S. Customs and Border Protection to collect cash deposits of estimated CV duties at the corrected rates below for entries of line pipe from China with a time of entry on or after March 31, 2010:

CompanyCorrected CV Rate
Huludao Seven-Star Steel Pipe Group Co., Ltd.; Huludao Steel Pipe Industrial Co. Ltd.; and Huludao Bohai Oil Pipe Industrial Co. Ltd. (collectively, the Huludao Companies)33.43% (from 33.00%)
All Others36.74% (from 36.53%)

(The CV duty rate for Liaoning Northern Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. remains unchanged at 40.05%.)

(See ITT’s Online Archives or 01/26/09 news, (Ref: 09012640), for BP summary of the original amended final CV duty determination and order.)
