The Commissioners of the Consumer Product Safety Commission are scheduled to vote by August 7, 2009 on a draft Federal Register notice that announces the availability of its Statement of Policy concerning the tracking label provisions of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). 2. WTO Establishes Panel on U.S. Measures Affecting Chinese Poultry Imports

The World Trade Organization announced that a dispute settlement panel was established on July 31, 2009 to consider U.S. measures that China claims affect imports of Chinese poultry. 3. AMS Adopts Interim Rule as Final on Table Grapes

The Agricultural Marketing Service, effective August 4, 2009, is adopting as final, without change, an interim final rule that relaxed the handling requirements prescribed under the California table grape marketing order and the table grape import regulation. The interim final rule relaxed the minimum bunch size requirement for the 2009 season for grapes packed in containers holding 2 pounds net weight or less. 4. BIS Notice on Staying Enforcement of Final Decision and Order for Mecei

Effective immediately, the Bureau of Industry and Security is staying its May 26, 2009 Final Decision and Order in an administrative enforcement proceeding against Micei International pending resolution of a petition for review before the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
