The ITA initiated this changed circumstances review to consider partially revoking the order to exclude ultra low pulp (ULP) orange juice pursuant to request from Tropicana Products, Inc., and issued its preliminary intent not to revoke the order in part.

ITA Not to Exclude ULP Orange Juice, Over 15% of Industry Opposition

The ITA states that more than 15% of the domestic industry has expressed opposition to excluding ULP orange juice from the AD duty order on orange juice from Brazil.

As a result, the ITA determines that producers accounting for substantially all of the production of the domestic like product have not expressed a lack of interest in maintaining the order with respect to ULP orange juice. Thus, it finds that changed circumstances sufficient to warrant revocation in part of the AD duty order on orange juice from Brazil do not exist.

The current requirements for the cash deposit of estimated AD duties on the subject merchandise will remain in effect until further notice.

(See ITA notice for more information, including the scope of the order, etc.
