AD: Turkey Certain Steel Concrete Reinforcing Bars

The International Trade Administration has issued a notice announcing that it is revoking the antidumping duty order on certain steel concrete reinforcing bars (rebar) from Turkey pursuant to a five-year sunset review.

The International Trade Commission determined that revocation of this AD duty order would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time. (See ITT's Online Archives or 12/10/08 news, 08121045, for BP summary.)

AD Duty Order Revoked Effective March 26, 2008

The ITA is revoking this AD duty order effective March 26, 2008. The ITA will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection to discontinue suspension of liquidation and collection of AD cash deposits for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after March 26, 2008.

The ITA states that it will complete any pending administrative reviews of this AD duty order.
