AD: Thailand Canned Pineapple Fruit

The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of canned pineapple fruit from Thailand for the period of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007.

Review Covers One Company

According to the ITA, this review covers one producer/exporter of subject merchandise, Vita Food Factory (1989) Co., Ltd.

AD Order Was Revoked Effective October 31, 2007

However, the order was revoked effective for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after October 31, 2007.

As a result, there will be no prospective AD cash deposit requirement for Vita.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/06 - 06/30/07)

The ITA intends to issue assessment instructions to CBP 15 days after December 8, 2008.

The ITA will instruct CBP to assess AD duties on all appropriate entries covered by this review if the importer-specific assessment rate calculated in the final results of this review is above de minimis. (Vita's final AD margin is 3.02% under this review.)
