volume grew 38 percent year-over- year during Q3, with messaging revenue growing six percent year-over-year. Total average revenue per user fell four cents year-over-year in Q3, it said. Verizon Wireless led in data average revenue per user with $13.58, followed by Sprint’s $13.50 and AT&T’s $12.29 and T-Mobile USA’s $9.00. Verizon Wireless and AT&T accounted for 62 percent of total market data service revenue by the end of Q3.
