AD: Canada Carbon and Certain Alloy Steel Wire Rod

The International Trade Administration has issued a notice announcing that it is revoking the antidumping duty order on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod from Canada.

The International Trade Commission previously determined that revocation of the existing AD order would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time.

AD Duty Order Revoked Effective October 29, 2007

The ITA is revoking this AD duty order effective October 29, 2007. The ITA will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to terminate suspension of liquidation and collection of cash deposits on entries of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after October 29, 2007.

Entries of subject merchandise prior to the effective date of revocation will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and AD duty deposit requirements.

The ITA will complete any pending administrative reviews of these orders and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to the effective date of revocation in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
