AD/CV: France, Germany, Italy, Korea, and UK Stainless Steel Bar

The International Trade Administration has issued a notice announcing that it is revoking the antidumping duty orders on stainless steel bar from France, Germany, Italy, Korea, and the UK, and the countervailing duty order for Italy, as the International Trade Commission has determined that revocation of these AD and CV duty orders would not be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time.

AD Orders Revoked Effective March 7, 2007, CV Order Effective March 8, 2007

The effective dates of revocation are March 7, 2007 for the AD duty orders and March 8, 2007 for the CV duty order. The ITA will notify U.S. Customs and Border Protection to terminate suspension of liquidation and collection of cash deposits on entries of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after March 7, 2007 (AD orders) and March 8, 2007 (CV order).

Entries of subject merchandise prior to the effective date of revocation will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and AD and CV duty deposit requirements. The ITA will complete any pending administrative reviews of these orders and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise entered prior to the effective dates of revocation in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
