AD: Thailand Furfuryl Alcohol
The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the antidumping duty administrative review of furfuryl alcohol from Thailand for the period of July 1, 2005 through May 3, 2006.

No Cash Deposit for Reviewed Company, Order Revoked Effective 05/04/06
According to the ITA, this review covers 1 exporter/manufacturer, Indorama Chemicals (Thailand) Ltd. However, no cash deposit is required for this company, as the ITA revoked this AD duty order and has instructed U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to discontinue collection of cash deposits on entries of the subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after May 4, 2006, the effective date of revocation of the order.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (07/01/05 - 05/03/06)
The ITA states that it intends to issue assessment instructions to CBP 15 days after October 12, 2007. The ITA has calculated importer-specific per-unit duty assessment rates, and will instruct CBP to liquidate without regard to AD duties any entries for which the assessment rate is de minimis.
The ITA adds that for entries of subject merchandise during the review period produced by reviewed companies for which these companies did not know their merchandise was destined for the U.S., the ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate unreviewed entries at the "all-others" rate if there is no rate for the intermediate company(ies) involved in the transaction.
