CV: Canada Pure Magnesium and Alloy Magnesium

The International Trade Administration has issued its final results of the countervailing duty administrative review of pure magnesium and alloy magnesium from Canada for the period of January 1, 2005 through August 15, 2005.

No Cash Deposit for Reviewed Company, Orders Revoked Effective 08/16/05

According to the ITA, this review covers shipments of subject merchandise from Norsk Hydro Canada, Inc. (NHCI).

However, no cash deposit instructions are being issued for NHCI, as the ITA revoked these CV duty orders effective August 16, 2005.

Assessment Instructions for the Review Period (01/01/05 - 08/15/05)

The ITA states that it will issue appropriate assessment instructions directly to U.S. Customs and Border Protection 41 days after July 11, 2007.

The ITA will instruct CBP to liquidate entries of NHCI during the period January 1, 2005 through August 15, 2005, without regard to CV duties.
