On January 18, 2007, the President determined to continue for one year the national emergency declared in Executive Order (EO) 12947, and annexed by EO 13099, with respect to foreign terrorists who threaten to disrupt the Middle East peace process. 4. CBP Issues Federal Register Notice on Quarterly Interest Rates

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a notice in the Federal Register announcing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) quarterly interest rates that will be used to calculate interest on underpayments and overpayments of customs duties for the period beginning January 1, 2007 and ending March 31, 2007.
