2. Wheat Exports from California to Mexico Resumed

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has issued a press release announcing that wheat shipments from California to Mexico have resumed after a 10-year ban due to Karnal bunt-a fungal disease of wheat, durum wheat and triticale, which is spread primarily through the movement of infected seed. According to the press release, California's first shipment of wheat to Mexico departed on May 5th and is valued at approximately $2 million. 3. WTO Makes All Official GATT Documents Public

The World Trade Organization (WTO) has issued a notice announcing that it has decided to make public all official documents issued under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) during the period 1947-1995 as part of its commitment to transparency. 4. AMS Issues Correction to Final Rule on Voluntary Shell Egg Grading, Etc.

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has issued a correction to its March 13, 2006 final rule that amends the regulations governing the voluntary shell egg grading program and the regulations governing the inspection of eggs. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has posted the following food-safety related notices to its Web site:
