The ITA states that these preliminary results are in response to a petition requesting a changed circumstances review to revoke in part the AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture from China with respect to jewelry armoires that have at least one side door, whether or not the door is lined with felt or felt-like material.
ITA Intends to Revoke AD Duty Order for Certain Jewelry Armoires
The ITA has preliminarily determined that substantially all of the domestic producers of the like product have no interest in the continued application of the AD duty order on wooden bedroom furniture to the merchandise that is subject to this request. Therefore, the ITA intends to revoke the AD duty order with respect to such jewelry armoires.
According to the ITA, if final revocation occurs, it will instruct CBP to end the suspension of liquidation for the merchandise covered by the revocation on the effective date of the revocation and to release any cash deposit or bond. (The current requirement for a cash deposit of estimated AD duties on merchandise subject to this AD changed circumstances review will continue unless and until it is modified pursuant to the final results.)
The ITA will issue the final results of this AD duty changed circumstances review no later than 270 days after April 27, 2006 or within 45 days if all parties agree to the preliminary results.
