(b) preliminary de minimis AD duty rate of 0.38%

Intent to Revoke AD Duty Order for Pallante

The ITA states that it preliminarily determines to revoke the AD duty order with respect to subject merchandise produced and exported by Pallante, as Pallante sold the merchandise at not less than the normal value for a period of at least three consecutive years.

The ITA also notes that it no longer finds that Pallante and Industrie Alimentari Molisane S.r.L (IAM) are affiliated. Therefore, the revocation would apply solely to Pallante. In addition, ITA sources note that the revocation would not apply to Pallante's U.S. affiliate, Vitelli Food LLC.

Preliminary Results are Not in Effect and May be Amended

These preliminary results are not in effect and may be amended in the final results of these AD duty administrative and new shipper reviews, which are currently due within 120 days of July 22, 2005 (Italy) and July 21, 2005 (Thailand), and within 90 days of July 21, 2005 (China).

(See ITA China and Thailand notices for more information, including the scopes of the AD duty orders, etc. See ITA Italy notice for more information, including the rescission of this administrative review with respect to two companies, the scope of the AD duty order, etc.
