AD: China Sebacic Acid

Effective May 26, 2005, the International Trade Administration (ITA) is revoking the antidumping (AD) duty order on sebacic acid from China as the International Trade Commission (ITC) determined that revocation would not likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S., within a reasonable foreseeable future.

The ITA states that it will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to terminate the suspension of liquidation and AD duty deposit requirements for entries of subject merchandise with a time of entry on or after May 26, 2005. The ITA explains that entries of subject merchandise prior to May 26, 2005 will continue to be subject to the suspension of liquidation and AD duty deposit requirements.

The ITA also states that it will complete any pending administrative reviews of these AD duty orders and will conduct administrative reviews of subject merchandise with a time of entry prior to May 26, 2005 in response to appropriately filed requests for review.
